Our beloved Frances W. Autry went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 14, 2018. Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers will host a gathering of friends and family to celebrate her 90 years of life on Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 2 to 4 pm at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.

Frances was born on March 27, 1928 to Clyde and Oma (Skirlock) Mahle in Lorenzo, TX. She graduated from O’Donnell High School and married Allen Autry “Bud” on September 1, 1950 in Clovis, NM. She moved to Lubbock in 1953, and still lived at the same residence. She was member of Trinity Church. Frances started working at Sears for 25 cents an hour as a sales clerk. She also worked in the catalog department and in the office during her 25 years of employment with the company. Frances also worked as an election clerk for the county elections from 1963 until last year and was recognized for 53 years of service. She was an avid reader, and a dedicated student of the Bible. She enjoyed her Bible study group and provided the transportation for that group. She was passionate about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and cherished all the time she was able to play with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Allen Vell Autry, Sr.

Frances is survived by her son, Allen Autry, Jr. and wife, Vista; daughter, Paula Beth Averyhart; grandchildren, Amber Martinez and husband, Billy; Brian Autry and wife, Shelley; Keenon Autry all of Lubbock, and Shanna Averyhart of Biloxi, Mississippi; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Moses and husband, Kane; Caitlin Autry, Aiden Martinez, Caleb Martinez, Elijah Martinez, Maddison Autry, and Melanie Autry all of Lubbock; and A’Jenon Liles and Anaya Averyhart of Biloxi, Mississippi. She also had numerous beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.

So sorry for the loss of Francis her and Bud were one of my favorite people and I remember Alan Jr when I came to West Texas to visit them way back in the 59th time frame they were great family and will be missed dearly so I suppose that makes me and Allen Jr first cousins

We had her with us for a long time now it is time for her to be where she longed to be with her Lord. She leaves us with happy memories . She was an encourager to everyone.Prayers and sympathy for the family and may you draw closer to the Lord. Our Love---Joe & Fran & family.

Though it seems she had to leave us too soon, we know that she is completely well now and happier than she has ever been before! She is the last of our dad's brothers, sisters and spouses. A generation is gone. Frances had a beautiful 90th birthday party this year and seemed to enjoy it so much. She touched many lives in her 90 years, even in the last few years, she ministered to the family and her friends through her Facebook posts, most often uplifting , beautiful things she found on different sites or that others had sent to her and sometimes you could see her pain and longing in the things she posted drawing you nearer to her because you knew she understood things that you go through too. We will miss her smiling face at the family Christmas for she was always there. God bless her children and grandchildren as they come to terms with loosing one so dear. We wish we could keep her forever but knowing how glorious her life must be now , how could we wish for her to come back here. So we will Celebrate her new life in Heaven with our Lord and with the host of loved ones there. Until we meet again Aunt Frances....thank you for loving us,

Francis was kind soul, her thoughts on family were AWESOME, she loved all of her family! ESPECIALLY on Facebook! She would show such happiness for all her kin. She was an admirable person, knew her 14yrs we had worked together. loved her and will miss her! Her last BIRTHDAY, was the best EVER, she had so much fun. Francis would say her family had given her the best day of her life, and was gonna hold on to those moments.God by my friend, go rest high on that mountain.

Francis was a beautiful lady. She was especialy loved by our Biblestudy group. I miss her terribly, because we had to stop meeting. She is rejoicing today in heaven with her husband, other loved ones and many of our Bible study group. God bless her family who she loved so much and dedicated her life to.
