Bonnie Faye (Brooks) Croy, 75, of Lubbock, went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 22, 2025.

She was born to the late Letha Tidwell Brooks and Earl W. Brooks in Naples, TX on October 30, 1949. She grew up in Marietta, TX. She graduated from Hughes Springs High School in 1968 and from Texarkana Junior College in 1970. She moved to Lubbock in July 1970 and worked at retail merchants for 9 years, Southwestern Public Service (Xcel Energy) for 14 years, and South Plains Electric Co-op for 18 years. She married James A. Croy on December 12, 1974, and they were married until he passed on December 14, 1988. They had a son Marcus Shane Croy, born July 6, 1976, who was the love of her life. She loved cooking desserts, spending time with her family, and hunting.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Letha and Earl Brooks, and her 2 sisters; Mildred Roach and Betty Powell.

She is survived by her son Shane Croy and her companion, Phil Sanders, the loves of her life; her older brother Leon Brooks, her twin brother Ray Brooks, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
