He is a Vietnam Veteran who served in the US Air Force as a Jet Engine Technician. He retired as a Master Sergeant after 23 years of service. He served in many callings including Branch President, and High Councilman in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a sports enthusiast as an athlete and as a fan. His quiet acts of service touched the lives of so many. When he took time for himself, he loved to fish, hunt, camp, and he was a pretty good bowler too. Most conversations you had with him ended with a smile.

  1. Valdez family , I am so sorry for the untimely death of your brother, father and grandfather . He was a family man who always had a smile and never met a stranger. He is now reunited with his two siblings and his parents. I am certain that each of you will miss him as I have missed my Sal for the last 26 years. Some of your fondest memories were when we spent some time with the family as Sal was the happiest. A few months later he was gone ! But I will always remember those precious moments we had together. I remember and honor him everyday for the rest of my days on this earth.
My sincere condolences to each of you .
    Con carino, Nickie
