Eddy Sytsma passed away on May 4, 2019. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life of 62 years at 3 p.m. central time on Friday, May 17, 2019, at Lake Ridge Chapel in Lubbock, Texas.Eddy Sytsma was born on March 24, 1957 to Louie and Jenny Schaap Sytsma in Artesia, California. The family later moved to Chino, California where Eddy lived most of his life. Eddy married Mary Jaquez on November 15, 2009 in Clovis, New Mexico. Eddy worked for Western Dairy Transport until his passing.Survivors include his mother, Jenny Sytsma; wife, Mary Marie Jaquez Sytsma; children, Eric Sytsma, Eddie Sytsma, Sarah Sytsma Gloria and husband, Nathaniel; Fred Sytsma, and Jestin and Jason Jaquez; grandchildren, Taylyn Joy and Callie Brianne Sytsma; Dresden Max and Ava Skye Gloria; siblings, Andy Sytsma and wife, Debbie; Willie Sytsma and wife, Ann; Fred Sytsma and wife, Caroline, and Dorothy Nowakowski and husband, Ed. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.He was preceded in death by his father, Louie Sytsma.He will be missed dearly.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family. The Bible gives us a comforting hope for our loved ones that have passed away in Acts 24:15 and John 5:28,29. The Bible also gives us a beautiful promise for our future at Revelation 21:3-5 when Jehovah God does away with all the causes of our suffering including, pain, mourning and death. I hope these scriptures can bring the family some comfort during this time.
