Eddie Clarice Schrick

Eddie Schrick was born January 28, 1949 to Oliver and Lucretia Lackey Dodd in Roswell, NM.  She spent her childhood and early married years in Lubbock, TX graduating from Lubbock High School and marrying Wesley Meeker and raising three beautiful daughters together, Stephanie Stargell (Aubrey) of Washington; Amy Kenney (Alan) of Maine and Heather Smout (Rudy) of Tennessee.  She later married Paul Schrick in 1993 and spent many wonderful years with him before his passing in March 2024. They blended their families with his son, Errol and daughter, Erin Deel.  Finishing out their working years in Fort Worth, TX, they retired and lived in Washington for several years before returning to her hometown of Lubbock in 2015.

Eddie was saved and baptized as a young child and loved her Lord and Savior. She spoke often of her faith and her beliefs.  She loved her family and friends and loved cooking, crafting and decorating.

Eddie left this earth for her heavenly home on Friday, May 30th, 2025 at the age of 76 years.

She is survived by her 3 daughters, Stephanie, Amy and Heather, her step-daughter Erin, and her grandchildren: Samuel (Madison), Grace (Logan), Anna-Celeste, Benjamin, Michael (Sidney), Kaylyn, Ignatius, Findley, Ian, Ivy and Gabby and four great grandchildren: Thomas, Noah, Maisey and Theodore; her brother, Chris Dodd (Viola) of Lubbock and her sister, Denise Wisdom (Dennis) of Lubbock and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, step-son Errol, and her parents, Oliver and Lucretia.
