On August 14, 1937, Ed Richard Reynolds was born to Herman and Vernon (Bryant) Reynolds in Lubbock, TX. Ed was a lifelong resident of Lubbock, graduating from Roosevelt High School. He served in the National Guard. Ed was a member of the Masonic Lodge #1236 in Levelland. He was the owner/operator of Reynolds & Walker Spraying in Levelland. He bought the business out and told a friend he would now call the business Reynolds & Wife. Ed was an avid pilot who loved the blue skies. He was a crop duster from the mid-1970s until the early 2000s. His farm was his pride and joy. One of his favorite hobbies was driving around and looking at the crops. Ed was a Christian man who enjoyed reading his Bible every night. He was a member of Canyon United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Evelyn Reynolds; grandson, Conner A. Davis; great-grandchildren, Liam Davis and Rebecca Davis; stepsons, Robert Roten and Russell Roten; step-grandchildren, Shiane Archer, Sheridan Roten, and William Roten; and step-great-grandchildren, Shiloh and Heath Archer; a beloved niece, Jennifer Veitch along with numerous extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Dixie; a daughter, Rebecca Fay Davis; a son, Roy Richard Reynolds; and a brother, J.C. Reynolds.
