Dr. Larry Bruce Moss was called home to paradise with our Lord on December 15, 2023, at the age of 68 in Roswell, New Mexico.
Larry was born on September 25, 1955, in Clarendon, TX. The strength in his Christian values gave him an unwavering love for his family, friends, and community.
Larry proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years. Larry’s beloved dedication to service for others continued in his professional career in the medical field as a pharmacist in several major hospitals. In Larry’s retirement he enjoyed volunteer work with Santa’s Helpers in Ruidoso, New Mexico.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Larry found immense joy and fulfillment in his role as a husband, father, and grandfather. He leaves behind his loving wife, Susie, who stood by his side, providing unwavering support and love. Larry’s daughters, Heather (Joseph Matyus, III) Thornburg, Hollie (Cecil Martinez, Jr.) Thornburg, and Deanna (Dustin) Moore, and daughter-in-law, Katie Moss, will forever treasure the remarkable memories they shared with their devoted father. His grandchildren, Jacob (Makayla) Newburn, Hannah (Caleb) Halter, and Cole Moore, were the light of Larry’s life, and his legacy will live on through the love and guidance he bestowed upon them. Larry was also cherished by his mother, Neta Green, his father, Daryl Munger, and his brothers, Bill (Shannon) Moss, Randall (Linda) Moss, and Jeff (Karen) Munger, as well as his extended family and friends.
Those that went before him are his father, Robert Moss, and his beloved son, Ben Moss.
Larry touched the lives of many through his compassion, generosity, and dedication. He will forever be remembered for his profound impact on the lives he touched and the indelible mark he left even after his death by being a Life Gift donor. Though he may no longer be physically present, his spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him.
