Obituary

The family of Dr. Khánh N. Vũ, D.O. will celebrate his life of 56 years at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Cornerstone Bible Church. He passed on Monday, October 11, 2021. We invite you to view the live-streamed service on this page, sign his virtual guestbook, and download his memorial keepsake folder to your device for printing. We also ask that you consider viewing his Life Tribute, a video of photographs set to his favorite music.

On November 9, 1964, Khánh Nguyễn was born to Bao Vũ and Luu-Phuong Pham in Saigon, Vietnam. In 1975 his family came to the United States where they ultimately settled in Lubbock, Texas. Khánh attended Monterey High School, the University of Texas Tech, and the Oklahoma State University (OSU) where he received his doctorate in Osteopathy. On September 13, 1997, he married Dawn Clenance at The First Baptist Church of the City of New York. Khánh’s life reflected his passions—in everything that he did, he was focused and determined. As an accomplished pianist, Khánh used his talent to serve God and share the joys of music with others. He was always ready to meet someone new, to get to know them and to invite them to church or recruit them for Redbud Lions Club. As a member of Redbud Lions Club, Khánh diligently researched the service organizations in Lubbock and introduced them to his fellow Lions. Perhaps most prominently, Khánh loved God and adored his family.

Khánh will be greatly missed, but he has left a legacy of faith, love, and honour.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn Vũ; their children, Laura, Audrey, Reagan, and Aaron Vũ; his mother, Luu-Phuong Pham, siblings, Huan (Jenni) Vũ, Han (Swati) Vũ, and Eddie (Sarah) Vũ.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bao Vũ.
