Donte Mike was born on March 23, 1998 to Ronnie and Becky Jackson in Lubbock, Texas.

Survivors include his parents, Ronnie and Becky Jackson; paternal grandmother, Margie Mae Jackson; sister, Ashley Nicole Flores and husband, Eric; brother, Ronnie Lee Jackson and wife, Deasha; niece and nephews, Malakai Eric, Jr. and Siennah Luz Flores; Jeriko Lee, Jaden Lee, and Aninyah Luz Jackson; uncle and aunts, Marvin Jackson and wife, Rebecca; Mark Jackson and wife, Leslie; Richard Garcia and wife, Sylvia; Lupe Simental, Robert Simental and wife, Kim; Kimberly Jackson, Deborah Kay Jackson, and Diana Garcia and husband, Ruben. Many cousins and other relatives also survive him.

Donte’s paternal grandfather, Robert Lee Jackson, Jr., maternal grandparents, Jose Guadalupe and Luz Simental; uncles, Lupe Lino Simental, and Joe Angel Simental all preceded him in death.

Donte , the kid I hung out with every single day after school, took to school, went to eat after school . And rode bikes like Evel Knievel Dailey for years on end. Even in the snow and rain we we go out with out a care. I will forever miss you . One of my best childhood friends. Please watch over us and give us strength , this isn’t goodbye just a see you later .

Donte was one of the friendliest and most courteous young men that we ever had as an associate with our company. He always had a gleaming smile and one couldn’t help but love him right away.His work ethic and dependability will be missed by all of us at Battery Joe.

Donte and my son grew up together. Every day when we lived in Lubbock these two boys rode their bikes every free minute they had together. He was a remarkable young man and he will forever be in our hearts. We will miss him dearly.
