William Donald was born on February 12, 1920, to Blanton and Lenora Rogers Street in Borden County, Texas. He graduated from O’Donnell High School in May of 1936 and from Texas Tech College in June of 1944. On February 27, 1947, Donald married the love of his life, Elizabeth Green, in Littlefield, Texas. Donald was a World War II veteran. He enjoyed farming, boating, riding motorcycles, and flying. He especially enjoyed his family and teaching his grandchildren to drive. In later years, his great-grandchildren brought him great joy. Survivors include his children, Ruth Locker and husband, Fred of Muleshoe, Texas, Donna Edwards and husband, Robert of Lubbock, Texas, Margaret Ann Street of Muleshoe, Texas, and son, William Blanton Street of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchildren, Kathryn Kitten and husband, Jeremy, Kristen Ivy and husband, Matt, Lauren Terrell and husband, Clete, Amy Thane and husband, Dustin, Stacy Armstrong and husband, Chad, Mindy Ash and husband, Brady, John Edwards; great-grandchildren, Milo Kitten, Sawyer Ivy, Eli Thane, William, Emma and Denton Armstrong, Gracie Kitten, Ellary Terrell, Hensley and Raleigh Ivy, Hannah and Ellie Thane, and Ruby Ash. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Roger B. and Weldon, and his wife of 66 years, Elizabeth Street.
