Dixie Lou Bartlett passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018, surround by her loved ones. We will gather for fellowship and remembrance from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2018 at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life of 86 years on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel. A committal service will be at 11:45 a.m. on August 28, 2018 at the Levelland Cemetery. A tribute of Dixie’s life may be found at www.memorialdesigners.net, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for her family.

Dixie Lou was born on June 26, 1932 in Perkins, OK, in a family of nine children.

Survivors include her four children, Jerry Bartlett of Lubbock, Judy Bartlett McDowell of Lubbock, Joe Bartlett and wife, Paula of Lubbock, and Jeff Bartlett and wife, Lori of White River Junction, VT. She leaves behind eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband EJ Bartlett.
