Patricia Diane DeBusk, 56, of Wolfforth died peacefully at home on Sunday, February 26, 2023, surrounded by her family after a long illness. She was a graduate of Monterrey High School class of 1984. She attended nursing school at South Plains College in 1991 and worked as a nurse. She was a Baptist by faith. She was born to Jodie Mack Pittman and Patricia Lois Nabors in Prescott Arizona on July 7th, 1966.

Diane was a devoted mother and wife. She loved vacationing in Hawaii with her husband. She also loved being a Bebe to her grandbabies. Diane was preceded in death by her stepfather Jodie Mack Pittman, grandparents Zeb and Alice Pittman, and maternal grandparents Keith and Lois Holmes as well as her beloved pets Sky and Ace.

She is survived by her loving husband and best friend Bradley DeBusk, her Mother Patricia Lois Nabors, and Father Bill Chapman and wife Gerri. Three sisters, Kimberly Swiger, Leslie Lampkin, and Jennifer Foshee, and three brothers Bryan Mccafferty, Jeff Chapman, and Bryan Chapman. A daughter Jada Rodriguez and her husband Adrian. A son Tyson Paxton and his wife Shea. Her niece Alexandria Swiger and her three grandsons Parker Paxton, Clash, and Strummer Rodriguez, as well as many extended family and friends.

A graveside service for Diane DeBusk is scheduled at 11:00 am on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Idalou cemetery, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 pm at Idalou United Methodist Church.

I met Diane once when I was visiting her mother whom I’ve called Trish since grade school. Trish took me to Diane’s home and I had the pleasure of meeting her and her family. I remember Diane as lovely, friendly, outgoing, talented and gracious. I know how much she loved her mother and how much her mother loves her. I’m very saddened about Diane’s death and I feel it’s the world’s loss too. She was too young and had much more to share with others. I pray that the God of all Comfort comforts her family and friends and heals their hearts. May memories of Diane be sources of joy.

Diane and I were best friends growing up at Southcrest Baptist and were so close. We grew apart as most friendships tend to do from that age, but I will treasure the memories and laughter we shared forever. Diane was beautiful inside and out with such a sweet soul. Sending heartfelt prayers to the family.

I consider myself very lucky to have some very happy, wonderful memories of my visits to Texas with you all.. Oh dear Brad- this is such a sad note to be written about a woman you were so completely devoted to. I have that photo of you and her visiting after you broke your foot doing work on your roof at one of our last times together at Charlotte’s home. How often we would see one another there or out Christmas shopping🎄. My prayer is for all of you as you sit in peace and love with warm memories of Diane. God be with you to comfort you.
