I am so sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences goes to the family. The Bible really is a source of true comfort and especially in times like these. Acts 24:15 gives us a wonderful hope of a resurrection to earth. Revelation 21:3-5 gives a beautiful promise when Jehovah God does away with all cause of suffering including, pain, mourning and death. I hope these scriptures can bring the family some comfort.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your dad. I used to babysit all of you children when you were very small. I would take you to the movies, the playground, and we will plays lots of games too. It was my pleasure to be a tiny part of all of your lives. In exchange, your father would drive a group including all of you and some teenagers (including me) to different Church services and music programs and without his kindness, I would not have been able to go to these places and for this I will forever be grateful. I am praying for peace and comfort for all of you and that God will bless you and lead As you go through this tough time.

My sympathy goes out to the Bateman family. I first met Mr. Bateman as a friend of his son and daughter in law. But I got to know him due to him being a regular customer of my mother's restaurant. He was a really awesome guy, always had a funny story, life advice or sports news to share with me. He will be missed.
