Devin Lee Dilbeck passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020, in Wyoming. A time of fellowship and remembrance is scheduled from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. We will celebrate his life of 20 years at 10 am Thursday, July 9, 2020, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. In support of the health of his family and our community, masks are required to attend his service and visitation. The service will be live-streamed and be available for thirty days on this page. You are encouraged to sign the virtual guestbook and share memories and expressions of sympathy by selecting the icon.Devin was born on February 26, 2000, to Kyle and Jessica Dilbeck in Lubbock.  He graduated from Frenship High School and worked as a wind turbine technician.  Devin has a smile that can light any room. He was the most amazing son, brother, and friend anyone could ever ask for. He touched everyone he met and could find a way to make you laugh even on your worst day! Devin never met a stranger; everyone was a friend to him. He had a way with people that made you feel like you had known him forever. He loved with all his heart and will be so dearly missed by everyone – who ever met him. He never cared what anyone thought. He was going to be him, and he was going to be weird and silly, whether you liked it or not. His daddy was his best friend, his momma was his light, and his sister was his baby girl. Fly high, Devy.Survivors include his parents, Kyle and Jessica Dilbeck; sister, Ashton Dilbeck all of Shallowater; grandparents, Kenneth and Renee Dilbeck of Lubbock; and Roy and Barb Helmstetler of Lubbock; grandfather, Mike Hayenga and wife Sherry of Loveland CO; great-grandmother, Nancy Warrick of Lubbock; great-grandparents, Ray and Patty Dilbeck of Lubbock, Gus and Ruth Hayenga of Morrison, IL, and Joan and Tom Marchant of Sacramento, CA; honorary brother, Seth Bayliss of Shallowater; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, John Warrick; great-grandmother, Lou Vera Dilbeck; and great-grandparents, David and Marilyn Klotz and Wayne and Una Helmstetler.
