Delora Jean Thompson Stalnaker

Delora Stalnaker, 83, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. Delora was born November 12, 1937, to Cecil R. and Willie L Thompson in Lubbock, Texas. She graduated from Monterey High School in 1956. On July 17, 1978, Delora married her high school sweetheart, Dr. Eugene Stalnaker, in Lovington, New Mexico. They happily resided in Lubbock, Texas.She is survived by her husband, Dr. Eugene Stalnaker; daughter, Lynn and her husband Craig Van Amburgh; son, Jerry Allen McLamore; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Delora is preceded in death by her namesake grandmother, Delora Thompson; and several aunts and uncles.At Delora’s request, there will be no services.
