Dee Ann Carroll

Dee Ann Carroll passed away on October 23, 2019. We will celebrate her life of 68 years at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2019, at Lake Ridge Chapel. Friends are invited to share memories and expressions of sympathy for the family to cherish in the space provided at the bottom of this page.Dee Ann was born on June 2, 1951, to John and Norma Book in Fairfield, Illinois. Dee married Charles Carroll on September 29, 1973, in the Methodist Church in Snyder, Texas.She graduated from Snyder High School and later attended West Texas State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in May of 1991. She spent her career working in critical care and cardiac services with Covenant Health System.  She retired in 2018.Survivors include her husband, Charles Carroll; two daughters, Amanda Carroll of Pensacola, Florida, Heather Brownlow and husband, Shannon of San Marcos, Texas, son, Andrew Carroll of Lubbock, Texas; five grandchildren, Emileigh Brownlow, Damien Brownlow; Erin Brownlow; Ethan Carroll and Ian Brownlow; and sister, Jo Book, of McKinney, Texas, and brother, Terry Book, also of McKinney, Texas.She was preceded in death by her father, John B. Book; mother, Norma A. Book.
