The family of Martin Dean Armstrong will celebrate his life of 62 years at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers followed by a time of fellowship and remembrance on Saturday, June 25, 2022. He passed on Thursday, June 16, 2022. We invite you to view the live-streamed service and sign his virtual guestbook here on this page.

On October 15, 1959, Martin Dean was born to Jerold Reagan and Doris Jean (Burrows) Armstrong in Abilene, TX. He married Cynthia Brown on May 07, 2021, at Claude, TX in Armstrong County.

Dean graduated from Texas Tech University in 1995 with a degree in Business and operated Armstrong Electrical Supply Co.  Dean was the most interesting man in the world because he would never let us forget how much we are loved.

His incredible knowledge of history was inspired by his 5th-grade teacher and led him to excitedly discover history through a set of books at home that led to a balance of Science and Art plus an appreciation of tradition with an eye on the future.  He worked his way through public school by throwing newspapers with (not at) his brothers and neighbors and gained some insight about people.  He played football in Jr. High and High School.   Early on, his best game was baseball and he had the statistics and fans.   He played from elementary to Ranger Jr. College with the support of his parents and much of the community.

Dean could do anything and went to work for the Armstrong Family business.  His thirst for knowledge did not let up and so he became an expert in the Electrical Industry.  Dean made a decision to pursue a higher education and worked his way through college by working at J.C. Penny as a salesman of furniture and gaining some more insight into business.

Dean returned and reinvested his knowledge back to the Armstrong Family business where he worked until he passed away.

Dean very much loved restoring the old most often rare and unique vehicles where, again, his attention to detail was astounding.  He wanted the best quality in everything he did.

Dean went to work every day and our project list could scroll out to the moon and back; yet, he always had time for family.  He was thoughtful. He loved his family. He loved animals.  He sincerely believed in people and walked humbly at every turn.

Dean was kind and honest.  He was created pure and stayed pure. He is the most interesting man in the world.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Armstrong; Children, Trey Melugin and Jacob Robinson; Mother; Doris Jean Armstrong; and Brothers and Sisters, Rick and his wife Karoleigh Armstrong, Brooks Armstrong, Kevin and his wife Meg Armstrong, Scott and his wife Kylie Brown; nephews, Valentin Jerold Robert Armstrong and Kevin Armstrong; niece Sage Armstrong.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerold Armstrong.

The family of Martin Armstrong has designated Joel Osteen Ministries or MD Anderson for memorial contributions donated in his memory.
