Ben, I wanted you to know that your dad was a great man and well-loved, and so are you. Life goes on, but differently than it did before. I wanted to call you, but I've lost your number. I will try to get your phone number so we can talk soon. Love, Cousin Corbie

Mary, Becky, and Family, I'm sorry to get the news of David's passing. I had hoped I could have one more time to come see him, though I knew it was a remote hope. David was a brilliant, kind, and generous man. I first got to know him when I stayed with the family in Douglas for a couple of weeks in the summer of 1987. During that time, David showed me how strenuous dairy farming could be. And it was due to him sacrificing his farm truck that I am able to drive a standard transmission today. Thank you, David! Family, I love you all and mourn with you. LTC Corbie Grimes
