The family of David Alan Arrant will celebrate his life of 64 years at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2022, at the City of Lubbock Cemetery. He passed on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.On December 4, 1957, David was born to Garland and Walter Jo (Adams) Arrant in Big Spring, TX.  He moved to Lubbock in 1962 and graduated from Lubbock Monterey High School in 1977.David worked for 16 years at Bigham’s BBQ in Lubbock, before moving to Granite Shoals with his mother. David moved back to Lubbock in 2019, where he helped care for his mother until her death in 2021.  David was living in Lubbock at the time of his passing.Survivors include his siblings Eddie, Tandy, and Amy Arrant; nephews, Logan Arrant, Taylor Arrant, Michael Arrant, Daniel Arrant and Kaylen Burns and niece, Tahlia Burns.He was preceded in death by his father, Garland Arrant, and mother, Walter Arrant.
