It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David “Dave” Alton Roberson, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Dave left us peacefully on March 9, 2025, at the age of 73. He was born on October 8, 1951, in Plainview, Texas. Following graduation Dave served in the US Army.
Dave shared a remarkable bond with his wife, Nedra Moseley Roberson, whom he met on July 13, 1974. They tied the knot just nine weeks later on September 14, 1974, and celebrated their 50th anniversary in September 2024. Their love and commitment have inspired all who know them.
He worked as a fabricator in the metal industry, where his skills and dedication earned him the respect of his peers. Dave’s hobbies included trap shooting and anything that involved cars and car races.
He is survived by his wife, Nedra; sons, Ed Roberson, and Norris Roberson and wife Deanna; grandchildren, Jessie Carman and husband Ryan, Callie Verhulst and husband Casey, Cody Gray, Audrey Gray, and Taylor Grace Roberson; great-grandchild, Kingston Carman, and another little one on the way.
