Obituary

The family of Connie Fisher will celebrate her life of 82 years at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 24, 2021, at the Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Her family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. On May 19, 2021, Connie Gentry Fisher of Lubbock was called home and went on to be reunited free from pain with her spouse Robert Fisher and her parents. Connie was born in 1939 to Edgar Wesley and Stella Grace Gentry in Cooper, Texas.

Connie worked for Hertz for several years. After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her family and attending Game Day at Monterey Church of Christ. She loved watching her Dallas Cowboys.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Cindy and her husband, Jace Mabry; sons, Bobby Fisher, and his wife Carolyn, David Fisher, and his wife, Kim; her brothers, Jackie, Steve, and Mike Gentry; and sisters, Carolyn Wooten and Angie Rogers and her husband Tony; and a special nephew Jeff Young. She had eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Fisher; her parents, Edgar and Stella Gentry; her sister, Billie Young; brother, David Gentry; and niece, Deandra Gentry.

The family suggests memorials be made to Hospice of Lubbock and Meals on Wheels.
