Obituary

Charli Jones passed away on November 11, 2019. The family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 14, 2019, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. We will celebrate her life of 3 years at 11:00 am on Friday, November 15, 2019, at Indiana Ave. Baptist Church. Friends are invited to share memories in the space provided at the bottom of this page.

Charli Kate was born on January 20, 2016, to Davis and Kerri Jones in Lubbock, Texas. Charli was full of love, joy, passion, and just the right amount of sass.  She loved her family and friends fiercely, turned at least three hundred cartwheels a day, and described each day as the “bestest day ever.”  She was strong minded, tough, athletic, and played hard but was also all girl.  She loved unicorns, princesses, rainbows, elephants, and all things pink and purple.  She was our alarm clock and woke up happy every single day of her life.  Charli will be missed but will also be loved and celebrated always.  It is a blessing, honor, and privilege to have her as a part of our family.

Survivors include her parents, Davis and Kerri Jones; brother, Cannon Jones; maternal grandparents, Gordon and Kim Kelcy; paternal grandparents, Greg and Betty Jones; paternal grandparents, Jana and Barry Johnston; paternal great-grandmother, Naomi Johnston; uncle and aunts, Clark and Sarah Kelcy; Kade Kelcy, Bethany and Clint Williamson; cousins, Keaston and C. J.  Kelcy; Luke and Rhett Williamson; and many other family members and friends who dearly loved her.
