Cary Lowrie

Cary Eugene Lowrie was born October 10, 1955, to Leon and Aline (Murphy) Lowrie in Lubbock, TX.  He had been a resident of the Lubbock State Supported Living Center for many years.  Cary was welcomed warmly into the arms of our gracious Heavenly Father in the early morning hours of February 16, 2024.

Cary is survived by his sister, Wenda Gorman; sister-in-law, Margaret Lowrie; nieces and nephews, Tonya, Arlen, Kelby, Suzanne, Randy, Shane, Lisa, Andree, and Jennifer; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Leon, and Aline Lowrie; three brothers, Lavoid, Jimmy and Ted Lowrie; a nephew, Shannon and a great niece, Amber.

We would like to thank all the managers, staff and personal care givers who took such good care of Cary over the years with love and understanding.  We also appreciate the care that he received from the physicians and nursing staff at UMC.

Cary will be laid to rest in the Ropesville Cemetery.  No services are planned.
