Obituary
Campbell Joseph Longley passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018. Family and friends will gather to remember his life of 5 years on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Trinity Church Chapel.
Campbell Joseph was born on February 2, 2013 to William and Cheryl Hammond Longley in Lubbock, Texas.
Campbell attended Trinity Christian School and was so excited and ready for kindergarten. He had the heart of a lion and loved his school family. Campbell was a bright and loving boy who could fill the room with the light of his smile. He had a passion for the outdoors whether it was fishing, hiking, playing baseball, swimming and just running around and playing. He was creative. You could always find him tinkering around building structures wherever he went. He always had Legos in his hands and in his pockets. He was loving from the time he entered the world. He could spend hours cuddled up under fluffy blankets with mom and loved movie time with daddy. His love for the Lord and excitement for the day he would enter heaven has shown his whole life and we are blessed that his greatest wish came true.
Survivors include his parents, William Joseph and Cheryl Renee Longley; brother and sisters, Owen Christopher, Kennedy Lynn, and Katherine Anne Longley; maternal grandfather, Michael and Debra Hammond; paternal grandparents, Lance and Trisha Longley; paternal grandparents, Randall and Jenna Wolcott; and paternal great-grandparents, Nancy Longley and husband, Nelson.

No words can heal your pain. No words can make things better. But know that my family is praying for you all. You are on my mind and heavy on my heart.
I have not met a happier, sweeter boy than Campbell. He was so sweet to his girls, particularly Olivia. Not many boys touched her heart the way Campbell did. He was always smiling and greeted Olivia everyday, oh hey Olivia! This world is a brighter place because of his infectious giggles alone! He was a little builder and so thoughtful in the way he constructed things. We miss him so much. He will forever be in our hearts. Jesus will hold him until we meet again. Our love and utmost condolences to the Longley family.
