Calixto P. Martinez

Calixto was born on October 14, 1939, to Alfredo and Concepcion Perales Martinez in Ballinger, Texas.  On February 16, 1957, Calixto married the love of his life, Petra Betty” Felan in Plainview, Texas.He is survived by his wife, Petra “Betty” Martinez; their children, Luis Martinez and wife, Diane; Mark Martinez and wife, Estela; Linda Osio and husband, Aggeo; Gloria Alvarez and husband, Bert Jr.; Ruben Martinez and wife, Criselda; Victoria Garza and husband, Ray; 22 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Alfonso Martinez, Juan Martinez and wife, Gabriella; Cruz Martinez and wife, Ofelia; Alfredo Martinez and wife, Rita; Carlos Martinez and wife, Lucia; Delfina Martinez, and Oralia Venzor.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfredo and Concepcion Martinez; his son, Calixto Martinez, Jr., sisters, Julia Cortez, Josephina Martinez, Dolores Mendiola, and Genoveva Jimenez; a brother, David Martinez.
