Brolin “Bro Bro” Charles Hardin, age 4, of Lubbock, Texas completed his earthly mission in Dallas, Texas on Thursday October 8th.

Brolin was born April 4, 2011 in Lubbock to John and Becky Hardin.  He had one elder brother, Graham, and one younger sister, Harper.  He attended Pre-K at Wester Elementary where he kept his teachers on their toes and his classmates entertained.  Brolin loved people and made sure to spread joy to all he met.  He was rarely found without a smile on his face; a mischievous sparkle in his eye.  He did everything at 100% including playing with monster trucks, swinging a baseball bat, completing a puzzle and even giving hugs.  Music was a powerful influence in his life and was often heard singing songs of all genres.  He especially loved to sing the song “Sugar” by Maroon 5 as this was a constant request during car trips.  His favorite foods were macaroni and cheese, scrambled eggs, Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies, and other sweet treats that may have “accidently” found their way into his mouth during the night.  He was a boy of great faith who loved God and was always the first to volunteer to pray.  His parents are convinced he would have been the world’s greatest salesman as he never knew a stranger and was never dissuaded by the word “no”.  Brolin loved running, jumping, getting dirty, wrestling with his brother, tickling his sister, cuddling his momma and cooking with his daddy.  He truly understood life was to be lived not observed.

Brolin is survived by his parents, John and Becky Hardin of Lubbock, TX; paternal grandparents, Al and Judy Hardin of Lubbock, TX; maternal grandparents, Charles and Pat Webb of San Angelo, TX; siblings, Graham Hardin and Harper Hardin of Lubbock, TX; Aunts and Uncles, Darrin and Jill Smith of Apex, NC, Kraig and Amy Ward of Murphy, TX, Ashley and Luke Schwertner of Amarillo, TX, Terry and Andrea Smith of Carrolton, TX, Robert and Pam Warren of Plano, TX, Randy and Juliene Webb of Pflugerville, TX as well as many cousins.
