Breaks my heart that I am just now seeing this and missed the funeral of Billye. I have grown to love Billye and Charles ever since I started working on their vehicles 25 years ago. My last conversation with Billye was when she called me to tell me her and Charles were moving to Dallas to be close to family. May you rest in peace sweet Billye and prayers for Charles as he deals with this loss. Brett

My life was blessed for over 48 years to be the next door neighbor to Chuck and Billye. I was so blessed. She and I often met in the driveway or garage if the weather was poor. There we would share pictures of our grandchildren and great grands. I know Billye is dressed to the nine with her makeup and earrings on talking to everyone in heaven. I look forward to having that conversation someday. I pray for Chuck, the girls, and all the grands. Thank you Lord for Billye's friendship.

I met Billye many years ago as a young bride. She was always so sweet and caring. Through the years we stayed in touch but more so in the last 2. I have missed her since their move and look forward to seeing her in Heaven!!! Our hearts go out to you, Chuck. You 2 were a perfect pair!!

I am so thankful that the girls and I were able to see Aunt Billye in October. My fondest memories are during Billye's trips to Washington State. Especially when she came to surprise Grandma Marie ( her sister) for her 80th birthday. After grandma's passing, Billye and I continued to stay in contact via texting!!! In fact my latest text was sent on Saturday as Billye was so heavy on my mind. I am truly sorry for your loss, but I have no doubt she is dancing in heaven with her sisters, Marie and Freddie. My thoughts and prayers are with the Sudduth family. Sending all my love, Anna

Grandmommy, as Billye was affectionately known, loved God, loved her family, and loved Texas Tech ... especially Patrick, as she called him. When I married her grandson Michael, she took me in and loved me, even if I was a UT fan, haha. I think I made up for it when I told her I was a fan of Buddy Holly's music. She would tell me so many things about Buddy Holly. I finally got the chance one Christmas to go with my father-in-law, Kenny, and her to the Buddy Holly museum. It was a real treat! Grandmommy was always so hospitable and so giving. She always told us that her house was open to us anytime we were in the area. She also always made sure that her gifts to us were special and meant something to each of us. I'm so blessed to have gotten to know Grandmommy. I will always treasure her. I look forward to seeing her again one day.
