Beuna was born January 8, 1924 to Clarence and Nancy Carpenter Cox in Stonewood, West Virginia. In 1943 she married Raymond P. Wolfe who served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II. He then completed his theological training at Nyack College in Nyack, NY. And together they began a pastoral career that spanned several decades.Beuna served alongside Raymond in churches in Bartlesville and Tulsa, Okla., Van Buren, Ark., Harlingen, Fort Worth, Happy, and Amarillo, Tex. She was actively involved in the music and Sunday school programs of the churches they pastored and for many years was the district director of the Ladies’ Missionary Prayer Fellowship, overseeing the ministry for all of Texas and surrounding states.Later Beuna supported Raymond amp’s ministries as Chaplain at Covenant Hospital and Carillon Life Care community in Lubbock where he served for over 20 years.Beuna was predeceased by her parents; husband, Raymond; a son, Rick; an infant child, Nancy Paulette; and 3 siblings. She is survived by her children Nodji Riley and Ron (Brenda) Wolfe all of Lubbock, and Tim (Judy) Wolfe of Hackleburg, AL; a daughter in law, Kaye Wolfe of Lubbock; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; a brother, Bill (Barbara) Cox of Lost Creek, WV.
