When I first heard Betty Bynum's name, it was attached to the adjective "gracious". Once I met her I found that to be true. To everyone she met, she exuded wisdom, kindness, grace, and a warmth and care that was genuine. She was a tremendous "Titus 2 woman" to countless ladies, myself included; I'll never forget her example of grace, dignity and strength... it's what I want to emulate in every mountain top or valley I face in life. A funny memory I have is when she--an advid walker like myself--wanted to accompany me on a morning walk. As I strapped my daughter in her stroller and leashed my energetic dog I recall thinking that'd I'd match my pace to Betty's. I settled in my heart that with my walking partner being nearly twice my age that I'd not get a cardio workout, but I'd content myself instead with the sweet fellowship that was sure to take place. And then, when Betty set the pace, I ran to keep up! My hyper German Shepherd/Rottweiler had never been so wiped out after a jaunt with his pokey owner! Mrs Bynum, I am beyond grateful for your influence in my life; I'm thankful, too, that you are now in the presence of the One you've loved and served and shared with so many others for so many years. My family loves you dearly!

Mrs. Betty Bynum was a pastor’s wife to me and my family for about 30 years. She was the sweetest dear friend to me personally. She loved the Lord and served Him faithfully her entire adult life. She was a faithful and diligent reader of the Bible and a prayer warrior. I know she is walking the streets of heaven in the presence of Jesus Christ.
