  2. So sad to hear this. I have so many great memories of this wonderful man! He was a man I looked up to as a kid. Great role model and would do ANYTHING to help any kid out. Haven’t seen you guys in a long time unfortunately. But I think of him regularly! Especially when hunting or fishing season comes around! I work in North Dakota now on a drilling rig and just came back to work yesterday for my two weeks. Sadly this means I can’t make the service. But know that I’m thinking about you guys and wish I could pay respects in person. Love y’all!

I interviewed Bennie on several occasions when I worked in media and he was always the nicest, sweetest, kindest person. I remember he was a breeze to talk to and I felt I had known him all my life.

  11. My sincere condolences to Kim and the rest of the family. I first met Bennie in a SPAG law enforcement training class in 1978. He almost popped my shoulder out of place showing me some physical restraint techniques. We laughed about it and would see each other every now and then over the next many years. He was a kind, caring person whom I was honored to know.
