Ben you will be missed you’ve been one of my best friends I’ve loved you always as God bless your family and give them peace
I love ya Ben! You and I spent the bleakest two years of our lives together at TSTI-Waco. We tagged up our first day, and you gave me a ride to DFW on my last. You from Lubbock, and myself from California, we never had a shortage of things in common, laughs, and a near death experience or two. Maybe the reason we got along so well was I was more of a red-neck than you and wouldn't put up with your slag! You'd drag my ass out of my trailer because you said I was studying too hard and needed to loosen up. I never had the guts to turn you down. God those were good times. So glad we stayed in touch all these years. Like Yvonne, you didn't return my texts (not typical) of some photos taken of my daughters wedding (yeah, I was wearin' a suit too!) so I got to wondering and found this and then the "how". Dude...hope we tag up again some time...Godspeed my old friend! Sorry I wasn't there to talk some sense into you more when you needed it.To the Perry family - my sincere condolences and prayers to you all. I don't think I ever properly thanked you guys for taking me in that Christmas back in '82 in Lubbock. Ben and I took the bus from Waco (Ben called it "Whacko") and we spent the week there watching people wreck there cars in the snow-storm and laughing as we sat perched up on top of small hill watching all the mayhem. Ever the entrepreneur, Ben was pissed for not having his Jeep so he could charge people for towing them out of their bind. But, unfortunately, he didn't take care of that thing and it would've never made the trip to Lubbock and back to Waco. I spent many days and nights push-starting it for him, while he sat in the driver's seat...anyway, that week-long visit really meant a lot to me as it was the first one I spent without my family in CA. Your hospitality was exceptional, thank you!God bless my best of friends Ben, all his family, and all his friends who knew him and were lucky enough to cross paths with him as I did.

Ben you were always good to me. I appreciate everything you did for me. I will definitely miss your sense of humor more than anything. Even in difficult times you could always find the humor in any situation. Ride free and forever good man.
My deepest condolences, may your loved one rest peacefully. Soon, the many promises found in God's Word will be fulfilled on a peaceful new world, and the enemy, death, will be brought to nothing. 1 Corinthians 15:26; Psalm 37:10, 11, 29 (jw.org)
