Barry Lyn Frye was born January 5, 1981, to Danny and Debbie Frye in Amarillo, TX. He grew up in Plainview and graduated in the class of 1999, where he was actively involved in Band as a trumpet player. He was in the sales industry for more than a decade and had a passion for food service. Barry moved to Lubbock in 2016 and met Stacy in April of 2017. They were married on April 27, 2018, in Lubbock, Tx. Their favorite pastimes included golfing, attending Texas Tech sporting events, concerts and visiting local wineries.
Barry is survived by his wife, Stacy; sons Newt and Grayson Frye; mother, Debbie Young, and stepfather, Thomas Young; brother, Jacob (Jennifer) Young and nephews, Elliott and Griffin Young; Chase (Hanna) Young and niece Emersyn Young; Mother-in law, Terry Neblett; Sister-in law Sarah (Scott) Carson and niece Charlotte, and nephew Brooks Carson.
He is preceded in death by his father, Danny Frye, and grandparents, Everett and Alma Bailey and George and Gladys Frye, as well as his Father-in-law Charles Neblett.
Barry will be remembered and loved by many friends and family members.
