Barbara Reed was born July 16, 1940, to Milton and Pearl Brazell in Marshall, TX. She married Stanley Reed on August 3, 1958. Her and Stanley built a successful home construction business which she continued for several years after his death in 1977. She began her banking career at Lubbock National Bank in 1986 and continued there until her retirement in March 2011 as a VP/ Real Estate Loan Officer. She enjoyed spending her retirement watching her family grow and spending time with her kids, grandchildren, & great-grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her children, Kim Revert & Tracie Holly; grandchildren, Tasha (Justin) Ferguson, Kelsie Holly (Lawrence Gamble), Madison Revert (James Malett); 8 great-grandchildren, Maddox, Stiles, Sloane, Stetson, Landon, Karter, Ragnar & Willow; siblings, Clyde Brazell & Pat Brazell.

She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley Reed; parents, Milton and Pearl Brazell; siblings, Ouida, Burnett, Alton, Billy & Thelma.

She passed peacefully on Thursday June 27, 2024, at 83 years young.
