The family of Barbara Stuller will celebrate her life of 88 years at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. She passed on Thursday, January 7, 2021. In support of the health of everyone, face coverings are mandatory while attending the service. The service will be live-streamed on this page where you are encouraged to sign the virtual guestbook and share memories and expressions of sympathy.Barbara “Joan” Stuller was born February 11, 1932, to the parents of Thomas V. and Gladys Holland in Alluwe, Oklahoma. She began her education in Alluwe before moving to Nowata, Oklahoma. She attended Nowata High School where she met the love of her life, Howard E. Stuller.Barbara and Howard, married September 7, 1950, enjoyed 48 years together along with their two children, Stephen and Stephanie. Joan served as the social writer for the Seminole Sentinel before settling in Lubbock where she worked at Lubbock National Bank. In 1976, Joan and Howard started Stuller Engineering, which they ran together for over 30 years. Joan was also a social butterfly- she was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and was often found singing and dancing.Joan was preceded in death by her parents, brother Ronald and husband Howard.She is survived by her son, Stephen, and her daughter Stephanie and Tim Compton; Grandchildren: Elizabeth and Brian Kirk, Jennifer Stuller, Justin and Julie Compton and Sean Compton; Great-grandchildren: Grayson Hollowell, Dylan Kirk, Riley Hollowell, and Emmeline Compton.
