Armida Estrello

Armida Estrello was born October 2, 1940, in Reynosa, Mexico to Reynaldo and Lydia Aguirre. She married the love of her life, Robert Estrello on September 1, 1962, in Lubbock at Our Lady of Grace Catholic church. She blessed him with their 60th year of marriage before peacefully passing in her home surrounded by family on September 12, 2022.

Armida was the definition of hard-working and motherly. She loved being in the kitchen, cooking big meals, and being surrounded by family.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; their children, Robert Jr. and Rebecca (Carlos); grandchildren, Misty, Mary (Keynan), Danielle (Nathan), Cassie, Emily, Jobe, and Arianna and 4 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Nena, Rey, Fred, Jane, and Lydia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four siblings.

The family will gather to recite the Holy Rosary at 7:00 PM on Friday, September 16, 2022, with a visitation to follow at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Services to celebrate her life of 81 years will be Saturday, September 17, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Lake Ridge Chapel.
