The family of Anna Fay (Ann) Wright will celebrate her life of 81 years at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. Her family will host a time of fellowship and remembrance from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. She passed on Thursday, February 18, 2021. In support of the health of her family, face coverings are mandatory while attending the service. On December 21, 1939, Anna Fay was born to Everett and Janie Mitchell in Morton, Texas. She married Finis Wright on August 31, 1957, in Lubbock, Texas. In the early years of her marriage, Ann was a Homemaker, Beautician, and Realtor. She and Finis also owned and operated several businesses together. Many special memories were made with family and friends at Lake Kemp. Ann and Finis were married almost 53 years before his passing. In later years Ann enjoyed traveling with and spending time with family.
Survivors include her children, Rhonda (Chris) Teter, Karen (Carey) Bailey, and Demona (Mitch) Terral; grandchildren, Justin (Tracie) Kennedy, Nathan Teter, and fiancé, Kathryn Lamon; Kyle (Linzi) Bailey, Brett (Krista) Bailey, Sammy (Jennifer) Houston, Nick (Krista) Houston; 15 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Clyde Mitchell, Frank (Carol) Mitchell, Loyd (Brenda) Mitchell; Martell Holt; and special friend, Bobby Hagood.
She was preceded in death by her four brothers and one sister, Benny, Don, Darmon, Glenn Mitchell, and Catherine O’Neal.
