Ann Meadows

The family of Ann Meadows will gather to celebrate her 78 years of life from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, June 20, 2022, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers. She passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022. We invite you to sign her virtual guestbook on this page.Ann was born on May 4, 1944, to J.I. and Bessie Speer in Wichita Falls, Texas.  She graduated from Petersburg High School in 1962 and went on to Texas Tech University where she lived in the dorms. Ann was a lifelong Red Raider and always looked forward to a good game. She worked at South Plains Community Action for many years, always keeping the office perfectly organized before her retirement. She enjoyed good food, gardening, and spending time in Red River, New Mexico.Ann was a devoted sister, daughter, and friend. She loved her two sons and her dog, Miss Molly. She was a caring mother-in-law and she loved being “Gran” to her two grandsons.She is survived by her sons, Steven and Ray Meadows; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Meadows; and two grandsons, Rylan and Carter Meadows.She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Joe Speer.
