Ann McGill passed away on May 21, 2020. We will celebrate her life of 86 years at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers.In support of the health of our community, seating is limited due to the social distancing requirement set by Governor Abbott during the services. She graduated from Monahans High School in 1952. She married Charles “Skip” McGill in 1954. They moved to Lubbock after Skip’s military career ended and she began her career in banking. When she retired from Lubbock National Bank, she and Skip enjoyed taking trips in their RV and hanging out with their grandchildren. There was nothing she loved more than spending time with her daughter shopping and following her granddaughters to all of their events and games.Survivors include her daughter, Karla Venable and husband Keith of Lubbock; two grandchildren, Jordan McVicker and fiancé Bretton of Tahoka, and AnnDee McVicker of Lubbock; sister, Sue Jasper of Houston; and niece, Sharon Aday and husband Brent of Lubbock.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Skip McGill and a grandchild, Hannah Grace Venable.
