Anita R. Lopez was born on March 11, 1936, in Maxwell, Texas and spent the majority of her life residing in south Texas. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be treasured by those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Anita had a deep love for attending church, dedicating her worship to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her pastimes included the art of sewing, and she delighted in watching classic TV shows like “Little House on the Prairie”, “Three’s Company”, “The Rifleman”, and “Gunsmoke.” Yet, the true heartbeat of her life was the precious time spent with her family, creating a legacy of love that will endure beyond her departure.
Anita is preceded in death by her husband, Elidoro Lopez, her son Angel Lopez, father Antonio Reyes, mother Norberta Baltierra, and sister Angie Ramirez. She is survived by four sons: Daniel Lopez, Elidoro Jr Lopez, Jose Lopez, Jessie Lopez, and nine daughters: Sally Perez (widowed by Ernest Perez), Denise Morris (Curtis Morris), Sylvia Lopez, Antonia Lopez, Diane Lopez, Anna Lopez, Mary Lara (Johhny Lara), Susie Cavazos (Steven Cavazos), and Lucy Lopez. Anita is also survived by 41 grandchildren and 78 great-grandchildren that she loved dearly, leaving an impact that will resonate and be adored for generations to come.
