Amanda met her future husband, Brooks Hodges, in the fourth grade and grew up as next-door neighbors and best friends. After attending junior high, Amanda attended high school at Chatham Hall in Chatham, Virginia. Their son, Brooks Clay, was born in 2009, and their daughter, Charlee Pearl, was born in 2015. She found much joy in assisting her husband in his role as General Manager of the Pitchfork Ranch and loved to share her culinary talents.
