Adam Lawrence Snell, 39, of Lubbock, went to be with his Heavenly Father on December 11, 2024.
Adam was born on May 8, 1985, to Kim Snell and Dianne Hewett. He graduated from Trinity Christian High School in 2003 and attended Texas Tech University. He married his wife, Megan, on July 22, 2024.
Adam was a beacon of light in every room he entered. Captivating everyone with his friendliness and humor, he never failed to make everyone feel seen and loved. Adam especially cherished his two sons, Elijah and Dax, with whom he shared and passed on his warm and playful spirit. He adored his wife, Megan. The two were inseparable, and he never failed to find ways to make her feel treasured. Putting smiles on the faces of everyone around him, Adam brought life and energy to his family and friends, and any gathering with him was full of joy and laughter. He was the ultimate entertainer.
Adam’s intellect was sharp and brilliant – the smartest man we knew. A man of countless talents, he enjoyed many interests and hobbies throughout his life, and there was nothing that he couldn’t do or learn in short order. From IT systems to Formula 1 racing, from sneaker collecting to deep sea fishing, from roofing to sales, he wanted to know it all and passionately put his whole self into everything he did. Adam’s drive went far beyond himself. He was a generous and charitable man with a big heart, and he never hesitated to lend a hand or give anything he had to someone in need.
Adam loved unconditionally, and his love will always be remembered.
Adam is survived by his wife, Megan; sons, Elijah Snell and Dax Snell; stepsons, Brayden Hargrove and Jameson Swopes; parents, Kim and Jami Snell and Carey and Dianne Hewett; grandfathers, Keith Hewett and wife Joyce and J.D. Peters and wife JoAnn; siblings, Ragan Parveresh and husband Michael, Grace Tumminello and husband Joey, Gregory Hewett and wife Jenni, and Nick Sorenson and wife Natalie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
